Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employee support program designed to enhance the emotional, mental and general psychological wellbeing of all employees and it includes services for immediate family members.

If your organisation does not yet have an EAP, consider the following:

  • - 45 % of Australians will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime.
  • - A person in the workforce who has an untreated mental illness might require up to 4 additional sick leave days per month.
  • - For every $1 you invest in an effective mental health initiative the return is $2.30.

At Blue Horizon Counselling we can support you and your staff, who might have any of the following concerns:

  • - drug and alcohol use and abuse
